I reviewed the headliner performances of the day-long Prairie Village Jazz Festival for The Kansas City Star. The festival, now in its fourth year (recovered from the disastrous 2011 rain storm), filled its billings with almost exclusively KC-based musicians, and was regarded as pretty darn successful.
