I reviewed "Mamma Mia" for KCMetropolis.  Acting kept pace with the plot, which wasn't very good, but a great conduit for beloved ABBA songs.  And now the tunes won't get out of my head. Read it here.

I reviewed the final program for Summerfest 2011 season for the Kansas City Star.  Works by Clementi, Al-Zand, Tower and Brahms.  Joan Tower's "Petroushskates" was a fun treat and Brahms never fails to disappoint.  Another excellent season for the chamber music series.

I reviewed the 20th annual summer sunrise Greek play from Gorilla Theatre Productions.  This year they performed Aeschylus' "Seven Against Thebes." Read it at KCMetropolis.org .
