Review: KCSymphony

I reviewed the Kansas City Symphony’s world premiere of Jonathan Leshnoff’s Symphony no. 3 for The Kansas City Star. The program also included first KCS performances of Magnard’s “Hymne a la justice” and Tchaik 3. It was a great show.

DSCN9756 — Facsimiles of letters they used from the WWI Museum’s archives were blown up to poster sized and displayed outside the concert hall. That was very cool to see.
