REVIEW for KCStar: Aspen Santa Fe Ballet

I reviewed the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet for The Kansas City Star. They performed three works in at the Kauffman Center for the Harriman-Jewell Series.

The picture they ran with the article makes me giggle. Because while I might be a sophisticated arts writer…I also have the sense of humor of a nine-year-old boy.

And I loved that the KCMetropolis reviewer,  KC Independent’s critic Paul Horsley and I all used “quirky” to describe Jorma Elo’s work. ‘Cause it was.
